Laura L. Pfleger

	Laura L. 'Hirsch' Pfleger, 54, of DuQuoin, passed away at 4:50 p.m. Friday, February 8, 2002 at the Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.
	Laura was a homemaker and had been a baby-sitter for many years.  She was a member of the St. John's United Church of Christ in DuQuoin.  She was a member of the DuQuoin Legion Auxiliary and a former member of the DuQuoin VFW Auxiliary.
	She was born May 4, 1947 at DuQuoin, the daughter of William and Sophia (Seligmiller) Hirsch.  She married James A. Pfleger on October 6, 1978 at Sept Iles, Quebec, Canada and he survives.
	She is survived by her husband of DuQuoin; a daughter, Lynette Ragland of DuQuoin; step-daughter, Lorene Hurt of DuQuoin; step-son, Brian Pfleger of Atlanta, Ga.; grandson, Kalin Bridges of DuQuoin and sister, Jean Luthy of DuQuoin.
	She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Lola Mae Stoffel and Ima June Hirsch.
	Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Tuesday, February 12 at the St. John's United Church of Christ in DuQuoin with Rev. Kevin Weaver officiating.
	Friends called from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Searby Funeral Home in DuQuoin and from 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
	Interment was in the IOOF Cemetery.
	Friends may make memorials to the American Cancer Society.
